Hi everyone,

Not to state the obvious, but, 2015! Right?

It’s February and the buzz of it being a new year has gone, but I’m still excited! I don’t so much do New Years resolutions, but  I do do growth, and this year I thought that I would give myself a word of the year, something that I would remember every time I want to make a decision, or every time things might get tough. That word is: challenge. It fit perfectly with the goals of my year because challenges are everything that takes you out of your comfort zone, and everything else in between that pushes you to work harder than you have been (or think you have been). It’s been awesome ever since.

So naturally when I saw the 2015 reading challenge I was like way to go!

Last year I can say I read a total of 1 and a half books! I found myself so busy to even stop for a second and do what I love. So thankfully a challenge represented itself to me to read more than 1 and a half books this year, and I took it! Has anyone else come across this, or is anyone else doing this? Let’s join arms! For anyone who wants to try, do! It’s also a fun way to discover new books.

The list has been floating around on all social networks lately, but this is basically it.

I’m on to my second book. Let me know if anyone is joining, will be fun to keep track of our progress together and maybe recommend books.. #2015readingchallenge here we go 🙂

  1. Awesome!!! I’m in. I’ve recently gotten very stuck on African authors like Lola Shoneyin, Ngozi Chimamanda Adichie, Zukiswa Wanner and Pettina Gappah. I’m looking for NoViolet Bulawayo’s We Need New Names, after hearing all the good reviews.

  2. This is great! I’m a bookworm at heart, so any excuse to read a book and I’m there! 🙂 Good luck everyone!
