What inspired the name of your blog?

I guess my mom did since she named me Cara Fay Tongue Out
How long have you been blogging for?

I have been blogging for just under a year

What difficulties did you come across when you first started blogging?

Definitely time management

What do you think new bloggers need to know about blogging that most people don’t?

Don’t follow the crowd please, there are too many bloggers who want to be like someone else rather be yourself that way you will stand out.

What would you say has been a highlight of your blogging career thus far?

Making friends, blogging had forced me out of comfort zone. I can be a bit of a wall flower but when you’re at an event you HAVE to talk and be out there.

Who are your favourite bloggers?

Oh wow this is quite a hard one as if I leave someone out then I’ll be given a lot of evils!! Put it this way I have a lot of favourite bloggers, each one for a different reason be it photography, humour or amazing reviews.

Which is the most read blog post on your blog and why do you think people like it?

My #lovelocal series, this is my take on ‘local is lekkar’ where I try and show people/things that are happening or made locally. I think its different as often we can lust over things that are unavailable within South Africa so I just thought it would be a nice way to actually show things that are here in our country.

What else do you do besides blogging?

I have a full time job in the e-Commerce industry

Where do you see your blog in the next two years?

I would love to see my blog gaining more readers but in terms of changing I want to stay true to who I am.

Do you look at your blog as a business, hobby or as a portfolio?

It is a hobby, my own space where no one bosses me around or tells me what to do #cheeky
