  1. Love to me is respecting each other, Love is feeling the tingle everytime he touches me, Love is when he looks into my eyes and I go weak at my knees. Love is breaking all barriers to be together.

  3. Well its Leap year and leap year 4 years I proposed to my now hubby # took the bull by the horns….I liked it so I put a ring on it..;-) . That moment when time stands still and all that illuminates your life is the immense overwhelming indescribable incredible feeling. It was at this moment I knew and felt this is love.. We met accidentally…fate perhaps? but this has led me to believe he’s my destiny.. # so this leap year we will be celebrating that union.. Its been an incredible and soul stirring journey of Love, Happiness, Smiles, Sadness too but as a couple we have grown. Not everyone in this world are blessed with an understanding, caring and crazy loving other half, a heart that knows love, a soul that knows gratitude, a spirit that knows giving…# Passion # Love # Circle of strength & Love, founded on faith , joined in Love…SO the month Love is extremely special to me as it sealed our commitment to each other

  4. I believe its a love acknowledgement month. It says to us “hey, tell someone you love or care for them in this month, especially if you don’t do it as much or often. I didn’t really care for it until I was in a relationship and when you show someone how much you love them through words, hugs and kiss, that’s more than enough.

  6. Love for me is an inward eye. This month is a reminder for me to always only accept energies in my life that help me love myself more, by either telling me the truth or calling me out in love, most importantly by loving me back with the same fire and passion.

  7. For me, love is a celebration and most importantly, love is unconditional. February is all about celebrating love in different forms. My love for my partner, family and friends, my love for blogging and my love for coffee and chocolate. Of course, the love for my favourite people/things continue throughout the year.

    Awesome prize!

  8. The month of February has good vibes for me when I see the love around…when I share it with my loved ones and my special man in my life…but unfortunately it would be a year,on the 28th of Feb, that my Mom passed over.Mixed feelings…mixed emotions….but a Chockie hamper would be something sweet to make the memories sweet.

  10. The month of Love means I get to show not only my appreciation to my hubby but to my kids and everyone else that plays a pivotal role in our lives eg: school teachers, aunties, uncles and best of all grandparents. It’s not about the romance but more of the gratefulness we have for our family. Even though we show these emotions throughout the year February is special because of its connotation to love.

  12. The month of love shouldn’t be celebrated only in February. It should be celebrated every month of every day and I’m proud that I have someone who spoils me with love every second. However, this month is the month of love and we’ve shown more appreciation to one another. Not only in our relationship but with our friends and family members.

  13. To me it’s the continuation of what is already present. Love should always be there and yet with life happening and our own selfishness and bad days and whatever else, it often takes an injection from the outside to remind you both why you love each other. My wife and i have started doing date walks instead of date nights as a way of getting out into the beauty of nature together and unplugging from social media and the loudness of the outside world and just catching up with each other again. So for us the month of love is just one more example to build on and reignite that which already is burning brightly. If this month is needed to get your love started or going, then it very likely is not love in the first place.

  14. The month of love means slouching on a couch (whilst my husband and I wear two equally hideous snuggie blankets) and eating nachos, whilst both of us try and compete for the dogs affection. Because my husband is the kindest person on the planet he always lets the dog cuddle up to me. Because the dog likes to roll around in fertilizer I always give her back to him. When we aren’t in competition over the dog we are running around like lunatics trying to make each others day always a little bit better. We do this every month…but the month of love allows us to both put on weight without judgement. But seriously, love means leaving the last woolworths youghurt in the fridge because you know they’ll want it.

  16. To me, love is unconditional, it means finding someone that brings out the best version of yourself and challenges you to be better. Someone who you are completely comfortable with and who knows you inside and out. Someone who is truly your partner and best friend and that you can share all your experiences with.

  17. I tend to make every month the month of LOVE. Love is something I have to show and tell those close to my heart all the time. You never know if they will be with you tomorrow. Therefor if I feel the love I’ll tell him there and then. No regrets.

  18. I have generally thought of ‘the month of love’ as a rather irritating Hallmark holiday. Now I like the fact that it is a reminder to say ‘I Love you’, so often we take love forgranted, we expect loved ones to simply know that we love them yet forget to express that love. Tomorrow is never guaranteed and it is good to have time set aside to appreciate the gift of love.

  36. Valentine’s day!!!! A day of love!!!Sacrifice and compromise is another name of Love. But till what I feel, love need not be expressed only one day. It can be expressed anytime, anyhow and anywhere. The more simpler way we express our love, more sweet and amazing it feels. And yah..love can be for anyone. Valentines day is not only for couples but also for all singles too. Singles can express their love to their parents, friends, and the things they love. Couples express their love in different ways. There are couples where both love each other in true essence. For such couples, valentine day hardly matters. They do not need any one particular day to express love. Every day is valentines day for them. “WE” is the word normally used in LOVE. if I was told to celebrate valentine day with my guy, i would just go on a drive with him or wear something which he likes or cook something of his choice. Simple but sweet!!!! If i feel like investing something for him, i may do that too… but just something simple.

  37. I believe that although it is the month of love you should not only show someone in this month you love them and give gifts. Love should be shown every day, even if it is in the smallest way. Love is to uplift the one you love be it your better half, family or friends to always be supportive be there when they need you. Tell everyone you love every day that you love them for yesterday is history, today is almost done and tommorow is never promised.

The month of love means that although we may show the ones we love them every day, valentines day we show them a little extra it gives us the opportunity to show he one we love just how much we love them and to spend some quality time together which we may not have due to been busy alot. So the month of love basically means appreciating the ones I love just a little extra and spoil them:) shared on twitter my twitter handle is @b_balutto 🙂

  40. The month of Summer loving is just around the corner, for some it means a pleasent surprise dinner,a long awaiting proposal, a picnic under the stars or an ideal day to have a first date. For others its a great opportunity to snuggle up with our teddy (cough cough) while re-watching throwback chicks flicks. Valentine’s day is a wonderful opportunity to express our unconditional love to those we cherish. Love ought to be consistently exercised , yet I appreciate that the world utilises oneday in which we are truly able to selflessly display the act of love.

  48. The month of love means CELEBRATING REAL LOVE in every form.

Love to me is honesty , communication , respect , kindness and having a genuine love and care for someone else that is pure , real and does not come with restrictions or conditions. Love is a connection with someone else that goes beyond everything, it is emotional , spiritual, psychological and physical. It encompasses every single level of your soul and being.

Love is accepting the other person as they are and not asking them to be someone else. Love Love is unconditional. It is sincere , trusting and REAL. When you experience real love for another, you don’t expect anything from the person in return.

Love is when you feel comfortable enough with someone to speak your mind freely and you can become selfless for them, in some ways. love is having your best friend as your partner. Having somebody special to go through the journey of life with through the good, the bad, the ugly and the sad times.

You know it’s there because there is this warm little fire inside of you that erupts when you see them. You feel it in your bones, in your heart, in your hands, you feel it in your legs, in your lips and fingertips, you feel it all over and it squeezes your heart. Love is so hot it makes you sweat. It makes you shake. It keeps you up at night. It makes you want to be with them all the time.

The month of LOVE means taking all of these things and definitions and understandings and really going over and beyond to enjoy each other. It means small gestures of kindness, thought and effort which goes a long way.

To me celebrating love is about the small things, the thoughtfulness and the gestures. Small things mean big things and go along way. I appreciate thought , effort and kindness WAY MORE than huge romantic things or expensive things.

“To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world” -anon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx P.S. Leaving a “I love you” chocolate next to a cup of coffee in a random moment to me is EXACTLY the type of love celebration that means the world to me…..the small things that MEAN SOOOOO MUCH XXXX

Life is so busy and chaotic with careers and families.. one doesn’t take the time to appreciate one another.. the month of love to me means just that.. its a reminder to slow down, and do something special for your partner, even if its just an extra hug, or tell them how much you love them.. or cook their favourite meal.. doesn’t have to cost a fortune.. and it will mean more than you can imagine.

  55. Today should be a day that you look back on and say, “That was the day we loved each other the least”. Love should always grow, love should make you fight for each other, love is unconditional, love is giving, love is understanding, love is forgiving. Compromise shows that they love you so much that they will put you before themselves and will do anything to make you happy. Trust and respect is imperative because without those things there will be doubt and betrayal, but when it is given it means that person cares and appreciates everything about you along with your flaws. Love is the simple things like watching movies together, brushing your teeth together, coming home with your favourite treats, kissing you on your forehead when you’ve fallen asleep, waiting for each other to come home from work, making dinner. Love is giving your time to someone else and looking forward to it. Love is everything you’ve always wanted.

Having being single for a little over two years, my idea of love has changed dramatically where it used to be all about the other person…however, having to spend copious amounts of time with myself, I have come to realize that Love and thus the Month of love is coming to terms that you are enough, you can love yourself and only when you are truly in love with yourself can that love spill over to another.

  65. The month of love should be celebrated every day and month of the year 🙂 To me the month of love means to really celebrate and show someone you love what they mean to you, being grateful and appreciative for having them be part of your life and you part of theirs. Love is about sacrifices, compromises and acceptance for not only our loved ones, but for all those that we encounter on our life’s journey. The month of love tends to be a little bitter sweet not only for me but for everyone that has lost loved ones. I take this time to celebrate my Forever Valentine in Heaven whom I miss each and every day, but I am still so grateful for the time and memories we shared together over all the years. Life is so unpredictable, so always remember to take the time to show and share your love each and every day of the year.
