Matric Farewells should be a night to remember and for most girls, a dress is the most important part of the event as it contributes to the makings of a perfect Cinderella story.
Through the new P.S. Matric Farewell Dress Campaign, Cadbury P.S. is hoping to make a few lucky girls’ dreams come true by providing them with a dress for their special event. The campaign kicks off this July and will target disadvantaged girls in various townships within Gauteng who are unable to hire or buy a dress of their own.
“Cadbury P.S. is always looking for ways to create precious moments for its consumers” says Grant van Niekerk, Mondelez SA Category Lead for Chocolate. “In starting the P.S. Matric Farewell Dress Campaign, we felt that we could create a platform for our consumers to get involved in helping each other. We also hope that by providing the disadvantaged girls with dresses, we can help them make their matric farewell a memorable one” van Niekerk adds.
Consumers all over South Africa are encouraged to sort through their wardrobes for pre-loved dresses to donate. Dresses can be dropped off at participating The Space clothing stores nationwide between the 11th of July and the 14th of August.
The Space stores can be located in Kwa Zulu Natal at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping and The Pavilion. In Johannesburg at The Zone at Rosebank, Clearwater Mall and the Mall of Africa. In Pretoria at Woodlands Mall and Brooklyn Mall. If you’re in Cape Town you can drop your dress off at Canal Walk or Cavendish Square and Baywest Mall in Port Elizabeth.
