For four decades, Turn ‘n Tender has been a firm favourite for restaurant seekers across Gauteng. But now, sensing great opportunities in other provinces, the steakhouse franchise has opened its first KZN store in trendy hotspot, Ballito.

The new restaurant is the first Turn ‘n Tender in KwaZulu-Natal and the sixteenth store to date since 1977.  With Turn ‘n Tender rapidly becoming a nationwide family treasure, the restaurant’s owner, Steven Munsie, saw an opportunity for the popular steakhouse to make its mark on Ballito’s locals.

“We are very excited to bring this iconic brand to Ballito. The town deserves to have the finest offerings that are available elsewhere in the country and we know that we will deliver an experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations every time they visit us. We look forward to meeting all of our customers, turning them into friends, and giving them an experience that they can’t wait to come back for every time,” says Munsie.

Situated at Ballito Junction Regional Mall, the new Turn ‘n Tender opened its doors last month, promising the same quality steaks and personalised service brought to customers in Gauteng and Western Cape, for which it has become renowned.

“It has always been our dream to expand across the country and into KZN, and we are thrilled to have found the perfect spot in Ballito. This restaurant will be the first of many we have planned across the province, all while maintaining the quality and family history in each of our locations. We’re the new kid on the block, so come and introduce yourself over one of our famous steak and wine pairings,” says Dayne Goott, Turn ‘n Tender, Operations Manager.
