It’s Game Time at Suncoast Casino-SA Bloggers together with Durban’s media were invited to the exclusive launch of the new casino area on the 22nd of May 2018.
Upon entry, guests exuded excitement and genuine interest behind the purpose of playing for charity and immediately the sense of “competitiveness” became the order of the occasion.
Within its surroundings, new Roulette and crowd favourite- Blackjack tables were the centre stage of everyone’s attention.
With leather finishes and beautiful granite insets topped with a stunning colour scheme, linked perfectly together within the vicinity.
With all the formalities out the way, the two mini tournaments were in full process as guests were split into groups.
Both the Black Jack and Roulette tournaments were invigilated by the tables’ management and a quick 101 lesson on the rules and regulations, ensuring that all is fair before the commencing of each game.
With the tournament in full swing and bets on the table, one of the attendees; Radio Host for DYR, Jeef Keef describes the thrill behind it all. “This is so much fun. I have learnt the basics of how to play Blackjack and Roulette. Knowing that we are doing this for charity makes it more meaningful”.
As players got knocked off each round, the adrenaline rush displayed by the remaining players shows a desperate urge of wanting to win for their charities of choice. By the final round, seven players were left and the competition was tight.
Speaking to one of the winners; Photographer for Ilanga newspapers, “Sandile” says; “I was very calculating and smart about every move I made. I knew I would make it to the top seven but I didn’t expect to become one of the winners”.
When asked about his charity of donation he said, “I would like for it to be an anonymous donation. My choice of charity will be discreet but I ensure that they will be very appreciative of it’’.
There is nothing more meaningful than giving back to the less fortunate and SA Bloggers had the pleasure of partaking in that. Suncoast Casino hosted an amazing event for a beautiful cause and we can surely expect more of that to come.
